Indeed. You already know how I feel about modern JLC pieces mon ami. I adore pieces from the Lambert era and earlier. Recently, not so much EXCEPT for outliers like the Gyro 5, Reverso Tribute to Gyrotourbillon, and the 90th Anniversary Reverso, etc...

since i saw it in a boutique. i've yet to see the new green, which may explain why i'm lukewarm. you're right about having to see it "in the metal" to properly appreciate reverso dials (well, watches, as a rule of thumb). however, there's something stoppi... 

I think both can be appreciated with different angles. But logic says a rectangular subdial would go better with the watch case..

Burgundy is sensual, playful vs Green which to me is a tad refined, understated - could I say so ?? what I can surely say though is...Burgundy left an everlasting impression and dent on my head + heart ! and totally agree with your comment on the case...t...
