I think they are two entirely different watches sharing only the common alarm function, but even the implementation of the setting of the alarm is qute different on the two. I guess that is why in a perfect world, greedy Robert would have both! PinkPanther, you know I like your taste in watches, and I cannot argue with your preference. HAGWE.

Is the alarm setting eaisier and more specific on this EWA than it is on the Memovox and Polaris models due to the side disks on the EWA v. the center disk arrow on the other models? Does the EWA alarm sound at the more accurate time than the other alarm ...

It seems all too often JLC (and others) are lumped into the category of ONLY producing more discreet and formal watches, and when something a little more brash and large comes out, it is dismissed as being impure. Why not do both!?

I don't think JLC offers only discrete watches. Look, for example, at the Master Compressor Family, or at the Squadra WT. They are not really discrete watches, to me, or not really classics. But I do agree with you, why not both?!!! Best, Nicolas
