...how could you not love hunter backs? I am particularly enamoured of the ones with a well-hidden hinge - like the new PP 5227. The one you've pictured, too, looks pretty discreet. Best E.

I was thinking the same thing... it just looks like an 889/2 (which it is)...and that's not a bad thing! But it's not particularly exciting either. So it crosses my mind that perhaps hunter backs really should be reserved for movements that warrant the ex...

Hi Yes definitely - more hunter case backs - also I've said before I miss the gold medallions the Master control series had before the introduction of crystal backs on almost everything. Cheers JML

I have seen the first hunter caseback from Jlc at a white gold older Master Moon. The watch was heavy and the quality of the caseback was impressive. As far as I remember, the watch was limited, but at least numbered.. Yours, Adam
