I really like the Geophysic line, and especially the Cal 770 / 772 ( True Seconds and Universal Time ) with their dead second movement. As for the color, Blue has been used and abused, I agree, and the same will come with Green, as you could see this year

Prefer the eggshell dial, a bit more character then overused blue sundial. Is there a designer left at JLC ? Where are the guys from amvox, navy seal and deepsea ?

Absolutely agree
To me, JLC stands out with their classic, no-nonsense watches. Dressy or casual, it’s the simple things they do best. Personally, I love the Duometre et al. But from a brand perspective, it’s the classics JLC pulls off like not many others.
