In the flesh, was quite impressed by it, the fit, comfort and legibility was great, despite the 37mm... any owners here that can share their opinions on this model? Feels like a bargain at today's prices *pic from Monochrome watches (website) ...  

Not sure about that lone 6. And why not put a “20” to the left of “22” for some balance.

...but I'm not a fan of the year on the dial...it seems shoehorned in. I also don't like the cutouts for the hands. I know it is to show the times when changes should not be made. But any owner can be made aware of that... That being said, it's a steal in... 

But it has a vibe that I really liked in person and was not expecting. For the price I think it is a great watch, was really tempted

I might be in the minority but I like the year on the dial for the Klaus IWCs and the JLCs. I understand that for some it might not be as aesthetically pleasing (although it is for me) and it can be a pain if one overshoots setting the date...but from a p... 

that I like. I have no particular dislike for the truncated year nor the cutouts. Guess I just did not notice them after a while on the wrist. The case size at 37mm is perfect for my smallish wrist and it is comparatively thin too. I also like the movemen...  

Understated luxury watch. Epitome of JLC IMO

Only issue that I am aware of is some oil leak to the dial but this seems more visible on light/silver dials. I have also seen quite a few dials that show some wear from the hands - many need dial replacement after a while This is definitely a nice piece ...

the year setup is also cleaner. JLC made some positive changes indeed

My preference is for rose gold JLC QPs (I feel like the warmer tones bring out the romanticism in a QP) but the bargain here is of course in SS. I actually prefer the year indication. I don’t need to know whether a year is leap or not but I do actually ne...
