A few things about bracelets

Nico,

There are for me a few things about bracelets that - when well-designed - make them superlatively useful:

1. When you live in a hot and humid climate (as I do), leather straps don't do well...this explains the love for cloth and rubber straps in such places (vive la PP Aquanaut!); and
2. When you are OCD (also like me), you care about the colour of your shoes complementing your belt and your watch strap; and a bracelet goes with everything, except for the more formal attire.

But most bracelets are No Good nonetheless.

For one, my wrist expands and contracts quite a lot as I go in and out of environments with varying temperatures, and a bracelet like this which can do the same is great.

Second point is that I want the flexibility of changing between bracelet and straps without having to travel with strap-changing tools, not to mention the constant risk of scratching the metal as I do so.

Only the new VC Overseas and this new JLC bracelet, as far as I know, have both the quick-adjust and easy-change features. This makes both watches attractive to me.

If anyone knows of others offering the same thing, let me know...

Best

E.
