Geophysic or Geomatic?
At the risk of repeating something which has been noted before, I think the big mistake was naming this model Geophysic when its design clearly derives from the Geomatic.
It’s a brilliant watch with a really interesting movement, and the blue dial is lovely. But I find that the cross-hairs on this blue edition (which are originally a distinctive Geophysic feature) just add another incongruity to the design and the name of the watch.

Prefer the eggshell dial, a bit more character then overused blue sundial. Is there a designer left at JLC ? Where are the guys from amvox, navy seal and deepsea ?

Absolutely agree
To me, JLC stands out with their classic, no-nonsense watches. Dressy or casual, it’s the simple things they do best. Personally, I love the Duometre et al. But from a brand perspective, it’s the classics JLC pulls off like not many others.

I also think it’s an amazing watch and a great technical tour de force. This is what I meant to say in my previous post. I do, however, stand by my point that what JLC does best are the simple, classic pieces.
