When the watch was launched and I read that the diameter was 45mm, I thought not in a million years would this watch fit me
Well, it has taken me only three years and the watch fits my dainty wrist thanks to the small wire lugs which allow the strap to just curve downwards. This is the perfect example where although the case diameter is important, it is the lugs that matter most.

One might even mistake the dial of the watch to be grand feu enamel but I will settle for the thick layers of lacquer that seems to change colour in the light. As usual when one loves a watch, they will justify their purchase in every way possible!

I don't usually like numbers on a watch dial but I shall make an exception here I am actually pleasantly surprised at what good time the watch is keeping and how it reliably changes the hour in tandem with the minutes. I know, I know, it is meant to work ...

Very wise and full of (hopefully not personal) experience. LOLL My personal experience is that their watches are very robust and reliable. But perhaps I was just lucky with my pieces (2 Da Vincis, 1 Portugieser MR and 2 Pilots, all except the Pilot Chrono...
