I got my second generation MR
which was an unworn safe queen and had been revised a few month before I bought it. I had to pay a much higher prize but still almost half of the prize of the mentioned Patek.
You are right, it‘s insane. But everyone has to decide for themselves what they enjoy and what they want to acquire.
I do not derive my joy from the desire of others and can therefore freely buy what I really like without having to take the brand into account. ☺️

I dreamed of this watch since the IWC Portuguese Minute Repeater was launched in 1995. But I couldn’t afford it at that time.
Truth being told I haven’t seen it in the metal, I admire this watch since I first saw it.
One day I’ll have one, until then I’ll just enjoy your photos.
You should do it.
I even sold some other watches (including a Patek Annual Calendar 😎) to get hold of this good piece. I have never regretted this.
