That's the thing. Have to see them up close. The Kudoke features some very impressive convex curvature anglage on the balance cock to go with the refined free hand engraving. And that is not to mention the rest of the movement. They are just different with the Kudoke being a bit more inside baseball and less obviously amazing in photos.

I don't think you can say one is better finished than the other. Different approaches. I own one of each. The gestalt of the Laine is bolder but better is not something I'd say. Different. ...

It’s rare to see both side by side like that. Thank you for sharing that. To my eye, it seems like the finishing for both is good, but maybe Laine incorporates some higher end techniques, many sharp angles, for instance
