The salmon dial works brilliantly! I’m not aware of any watch that looks like the Kudoke 2. It would certainly add diversity to my collection.
I do like the guilloche dials on the Laine, especially the green one, and I’m missing a guilloche dial in my collection. But part of me wants to hold out for something truly special in that regard like a Gronefeld with a Kari dial.
The Laine movements do appear significantly better finished than the Kudoke movements, at least to my eyes.

I saw that too , i think there will be one or two laying around at a local AD but as far as I know the are all sold out or spoken for.

I don't think you can say one is better finished than the other. Different approaches. I own one of each. The gestalt of the Laine is bolder but better is not something I'd say. Different. ...

It’s rare to see both side by side like that. Thank you for sharing that. To my eye, it seems like the finishing for both is good, but maybe Laine incorporates some higher end techniques, many sharp angles, for instance
