Wow, I love this!
Thank you so much for sharing as I had not heard of him before (although looks like he's getting a ton of press today). There have been very few new independents recently whose watches spoke to me and this was like love at first sight! I know it can be frustrating for people who can't buy it, but honestly this hobby is all about patience for me. It takes time to craft these pieces of art, and I respect that. If I ever get one, I'll be very happy but also just happy to see it out in the world!

That I regret not subscribing to when I had the chance. I just felt uncomfortable depositing money off a rendering for a maker attempting his first watch. The watch itself, in my very humble opinion, is a marvel. And I would be very happy to own one.

Always asking myself: what‘s the point in presenting a watch to the world after it’s sold out? I do not like the way watch collecting is heading towards and this is another example.
Buying independants was really fun a few years ago. No it‘s just showing off it seems.

Displaying a new watch is like displaying a new piece of art. Just because you can’t own it doesn’t mean there isn’t value in seeing it

I think SB is great. Another one of those unicorns you find every now and then, just ever so rarely. I think new, solid entrants like him will continue to change the landscape for independents. Really like the design, the finishing, etc. It probably is on...
