Hi HTF, others...  

I was really just trying to make a little "stab" at why the post was moved...Thought it would get deleted and that would be that.  Instead, some of the longest posts I've read in years on these pages. 

In all honesty, Melvyn, If your post is to ring true - all Roger Smith, Urwerk, Max Busser (MB&F), Grubel-Forsey (i think maybe I'm wrong here), and probably about 10-15 other watchmakers that have been discussed on these here, the independant horology forum pages should be deleted and removed immediately. 

Ok - i'm kidding.  Stepan is as independant as they come and he's a pretty nice guy to boot.  If you want to "help" his brand as you put it, keep his post in the places which people who are actually interested visit.  I havent visited the HOME forum since it "changed" a year or so back.  I like the "independant forum" becasue its just that. 

You are getting really picky.....
