They are interesting, but really nothing extraordinary to my eyes
Still a simple Swiss lever escapement, with a cool reset to zero function. Also, I have heard from a few owners and others whom I trust of significant mechanical issues with his watches. As high as a 60 percent failure rate, with service times extending beyond one year. These issues aren’t discussed in the open, perhaps in order to defend the value of the brand.

That I simply don’t understand the million dollar appeal of these watches. There are much more interesting watches in the sub-100k category in my very humble opinion. But what do I know!
I agree with you and Nico. That’s why when Rexhep’s CC went for $924K, I was a bit frustrated.
Why? Because now even more speculators will try to obtain his pieces. Now, Rexhep’s pieces are interesting, unique, etc. so don’t hear me saying they are not. I simply want to return to the days when true enthusiasts could obtain and discuss watches.
I may be wrong, but I think the speculator angle gets overplayed....
...and all this shows is that 1M is insignificant for the 0.1%ers of the world who can buy what they want. We all love capitalism until we are on the wrong side of it!

But this one leaves me feeling quite cold. As you’ve rightly said it. It’s VERY simple I like having a seconds hand running around in circles. Also the lack of guilloche and applied numerals just makes it really, really, simple. Best Gatsby
