That I simply donāt understand the million dollar appeal of these watches. There are much more interesting watches in the sub-100k category in my very humble opinion. But what do I know!
I agree with you and Nico. Thatās why when Rexhepās CC went for $924K, I was a bit frustrated.
Why? Because now even more speculators will try to obtain his pieces. Now, Rexhepās pieces are interesting, unique, etc. so donāt hear me saying they are not. I simply want to return to the days when true enthusiasts could obtain and discuss watches.
I may be wrong, but I think the speculator angle gets overplayed....
