I have had mine for 2 years and pretty much agree with everything you said. The designs are polarizing and not for everyone, but indeed in terms of matchmaking few come close to what MB&F have achieved across their model lines. And the sequential is their... 

I like black and orange best.

I mocked up dark red which I think would look awesome but they don’t have it. Also I nearly puked after paying the price for the rubber strap. Kind of ridiculous lol ...  

I can't argue with the price being silly ... Although I do hear that those are not that cheap to make, and as you can imagine volume is pretty low.

I make small run rubber products at some of the brands I own and it’s really just the mold which is a negligible one time cost

From what I understand in Switzerland it is expensive simply because producers don't want to deal with small orders.

Are these made in Switzerland? That would make more sense I guess. I am used to costs for molds in China or Thailand

There is a price difference of course, but even with this watch being at 150% to 200% the price of the innumerable time only wonders of today, that other stuff still makes a lot less sense when you put something like this beside it. Maybe I’m smoking some... 

Although I am still a sucker for an immaculately finished watch lol

There is obviously a place for those also. The question is how do we ascribe value. Innovation, technical mastery is worth X, time and perfection of a skill is worth X - Y. I don’t know if that’s fair. But one can be taught. The other can’t.

In addition to being beautiful (at least to me), it is a REVOLUTIONARY change/improvement in chronographs. Never been done before. Nothing like it. I am super hot for the new flyback sequential EVO - just the declining USD and tariffs make it impossible

I wish more brands would mess with chronographs in general. Feels under explored.

This watch is beautiful both in design and complication. The finishing is great, and it has very unique wrist presence. It’s like a Ferrari v8 on your wrist !

My favorite are the huge titanium wheels, such an epic and unique looking movement on both sides. Hands are something that MB&F just doesn't seem to labor over that much in general, not just the evos. Maybe because they're all so tiny and so many, 7 h... 

The most encouraging aspect I find to be the dearth of bad experiences - many other independents seem to falter there much too often and the watches not perform as well in the daily grind as advertised. Wishing you many years of fun with this one and us m... 

This was a lot of $ for me so I rest a little easier knowing others have had good experiences with Mb&f

I was lucky to play with one a few times from a fellow WPS member. Def one of the best Chronographs till today imho .

Finishing has become overrated and does not add any extra value to the sector. It took another great watchmaker ( still him 🤩) to redesign a calendar, so there are many ways to innovate. Enjoy this beast and keep on sharing it with us 👍🏻🏆
