Anybody can have an enrmal world map on the dial, this particular dial took several months to make by a famous Japanese artist, I don’t really think you can compare the two… We are all entitled to our opinions…Jim

I just find this watch not attractive at all. And in general, I admire Kari's work tremendously. GEO

Your handle tells me we would be thinking alike. A world renowned independent watchmaker, his soulmate from Japan, a world renowned artist, a new movement that does everything from the crown and is more efficient is what I call horology… Jim

This dial is not my style. Very well executed, just personal preference.

Highest of craftsmanship. I still don't find it to my visual taste, but that doesn't mean it isn't unqiue, masterful, artistry. I am sure all sold, whether because collectors find it appealing, they just want anything KV, they just want the collaboration,... 

And I agree, so cool it exists and who doesn’t want a KV? It was so impressive to be able to meet Kari and see his work shop, the passion he has (and so humble) for what he does and how he views not only his craft but his young people is inspirational! Th... 

It is based on the original V8 but it’s thinner, more efficient and more accurate. To have a world timer with everything working from the crown makes this watch simple but beautiful on both sides… Jim

I know Kari also has a new reverse movement That will be better than the first one, he is really working hard and has many young people under his wing. His workshop and organization are very impressive… Jim

They are all beautiful Watches, the difference to me is Patek makes about 80,000 Watches a year, Kari makes 70! I believe this is only the third watch he’s done with his famous Japanese artist, to me that makes it very very special, It’s a unique piece fi...

I would also pref a bit more simpler dial like Amanico said . But overall a gorgeous KV

It describes the two men, their backgrounds and superlative achievements and the appearance of the watch, but not how it actually works... I'm always baffled by the world timer's actual functionality. Cazalea

Honestly world timers don’t work all that well considering there’s many other time zones besides 24, for instance Vashron Constantine Has 36 times zones on the world timer. It’s hard to read and you have to turn your head upside down to see some of the ci...
