I believe he is stating that the guilloche pattern on the Delphis dial is mechanically stamped versus being cut on a rose engine.

When Gerd was at the helm, for better or worse, CS was something really different.
This was a world before MB&F and De Bethune. Seeing something like this was amazing. Like you, this watch had a profound impact on me as a watch enthusiast.
Absolutely, many years ago, seeing it just blew me away with its unique time display, superb dial and case, and just a cool looking movement. The rotor on this movement is one of the slickest I’ve seen.
With a little flick of your wrist, the thing just goes round and round…😊
