I haven't posted in a while because I've been boring. A few years ago in attempt to consolidate the collection I fell into this Greubel Forsey Signature 1. It didn't make sense to me at first - checked none of the boxes that I normally look for in a watch...

I've been enjoying less. No date or lume, no problem, cell phone to the rescue. No power reserve meter is fine, I wind it everyday and can feel through the crown and see from the balance amplitude if it is low. The crown action can feel a little sluggish ...

I’ve only had experience with servicing Patek and Rolex.
Both were excellent experiences. I’m sorry you had this experience. It takes the fun out of owning watches.
