Yes - I hear their turnaround times for service are also good!

Hearing interviews of the team it seems they have sufficient resources to service watches consistently within 8 weeks.

My first experience with early Richard Mille - which may have been independent like - was a bit of a disaster and created for me this perception that independents are not good at service.

It took 9 months with a lot of poor communication for a simple time/date/seconds automatic movement - don't know if the "variable geometry" rotor enabled movement outsourced from Vaucher required Philippe Dufour to fly in and fix it wink This experience really turned me off of smaller brands - and while RM has seen an incredible demand lately, I always hesitate when considering any RM models because of that experience. It's as if you need a minimum of two RMs to ensure at least one is keeping time while the other is in service.

I get a feeling Urwerk is going to be different....very different!!

Cheers

Peter

Following a recent purchase of an Urwerk, and following advice from other collectors of the brand, I made the decision to pick a few straps to complement my first Urwerk and first adventure in an Independent brand. All I can say is - wow! Really personali...

That is great, Peter!

I have never owned a watch from this brand, but have heard great stories. And the straps you selected are cool! Can't wait for the watch post...

I'm also looking forward to making the watch post...

I just found my old post from 2007 on how to change a strap on an RM005. Crickey I was detail oriented - I'm not sure I have the attention span anymore!!! Thanks for the feedback. With all of the hubbub on allocations and demand and values in watchland - ...

Excellent choices and service story.

A little bit of an escape and refreshing experience for me beyond the super-houses. One often thinks of small entrepreneurial companies being nimble, agile, and innovative but there are exemplars with great customer centricity and relationship management,...

Absolutely agree!!!

I think there are incredible margins which allow for room and investment in customer service and engagement - I would absolutely curious to see what the economics are of any of the houses. I can’t imagine R and D to be that substantial, but paying for Swi...
