My thoughts:
The tourbillon version is missing a detent escapement that was the most important element of the Pratt's original Oval pocket watch - so a "no" from me. The perpetual is too think for this elegant diameter - another "no". The 3-hander is interesting given all the elements that it has (natural Breguet escapement, hand guilloche, etc.).

Just went to their site as I like their older watches...
...the site is a bit of a mess. The dials are using a '0' instead of a '12.' No idea why. And a hour/minute/second/power reserve dress watch is 39.5mm x 12.2mm. Why? I will stick to vintage...
Just making a point, but for 39.5, the photo I posted looks far thicker than 12.2mm...
...and the UJ 3 perpetual which is listed at 13.9mm looks massive. Can't anyone make thin watches anymore? Monochrome ...
KV can make a thinner watch but he likes them thick 😂
A philosophy of robustness and made to last generations leads to bigger screws to handle more torque which comes with bigger threads which leads to thicker plates and a thicker movement.
I've never been a huge fan of his watches...
...so I guess I won't buy one even if I like a future design. As I've said many times in different ways, it doesn't take artistry to make a thick watch...

...the movements are beautiful for what they are. But no elegance in the overall package. The watches should be far thinner to start with.

Like the majority of independent watchmaking nowadays imho. Allways technically impressive, but allways the same watch, with no charm and no inspiration. Very sterile imho It sure is a bit rude, but it's my feeling. 😀 And prices are insane, as usual

135 for the simple one, 210k euro for the perpetual and 470k euro for the tourbillon Nice watches buts it’s gotten more ridiculous than I ever thought was possible

I never liked the teardrop lugs… I would acknowledge they may be true UJS DNA… but I never liked them—on any watch actually, including Voutilainen and VC. I think these lugs are clearly modern—very modern. I’m not sure what I think of them. Must see in me...
