Hi agin fellow Independant Purists…I am looking at two limited edition LE, it is limited and about $55K with a Salmon dial and micro rotor, $35k without the micro rotor. It is clear LF has fallen out of favor so I’m concerned about buying the watch below at retail, what are your thoughts about LE’s below and why they are not following the general watch market of higher prices and hard to get?..Thanks…Jim

LF has falled out of favor. I think independent are surging right now with all this tomfoolery going on at the big brands. I think those are both beautiful, I thought the manual wind was already sold out? Lf with micro rotor and direct impulse escapement ...

LF is still being sold at discounts to the general independant watch market so in my opinion, the market has spoken and LF is not one of the independents surging recently. The fact that Revolution still has one available is proof enough in this crazy mark...

FPJ is a brand that I own may share of and for a good reason, Mr. Journe is a genius and it shows. I am fortunate to have many watches and I love the LF dual time I own but I did buy it at a good price and that makes the watch even better…Jim

I like the revolution x rake watch because the dial and Breguet numerals are my style. When I look at all these different editions for retailers, I don't see that as an exclusivity that drives up the price. I think that it is a way that LF could get paid ...
LF just hasn't quite made the hype cycle yet, I wouldn't let that dampen your interest
Maybe LF will catch on, maybe it won't, but they seem like a great deal atm if you like them. LF's aesthetic doesn't do it for me (neither does FPJ so my taste clearly doesn't mean much) but I keep looking at them because they seem like such great values ...

Always buy what you like and push for sizable discount, no matter the brand/model.
LF can’t possibly remain this undervalued for the duration of our watch collecting journeys. Love their micro-rotor natural escapement offerings

Pretty sure all 20 pieces sold out within a few days of release. Nonetheless, I'm not quite sure what you mean by LF falling out of favor. They make beautiful watches and more and more are starting to appreciate these pieces.

As of 2 weeks ago per revolution website, the the manual wind were sold and the micro rotor were still listed as available. I know because I was going to contact them about the micro rotor but ended up going with a LF origin. For me, I don't like the plat...

One thing I forgot to mention in my previous comment...
I believe the recently released Antoine De Macedo limited edition might still be available. That one might be one of my favorite LF releases to date! If ACM was based in the USA, I would've already pulled the trigger.
