On my way to London for business; have arranged meeting with a seller for a swap...I look forward to the new watch...but letting go my Journe Bleu is really giving me bad feeling; should I just "miss" the plane? What if I have remorse after?...can I still...

I knew I had just to wrap the Bleu and bring it in a box out of my view, still have decided to strap it on and suffer...sweet torture..

On the other hand I made a choice when approaching the seller. Guess I will meet him, have a look at the other one, compare them and either make the swap, either tell him I'll pay in full for the new one! Again, should not have strapped this today.. ...

I believe the Chronometre Bleu is a keeper and is one of the best 3 handed manual watches available in the market (Roger Smith, Philip Dufour and Kari Voutilainen are at a different level in terms of price, exclusitivity and movement finish). Irrespective... 

I really THINK you are right...let's see what I FEEL when seeing both watches together. The one am looking for also highly coveted, discontinued and a little marvel... The more I wait the more I feel I will come back home full handed..

My feeling is that you are having temporary regret. You initially were happy to trade this away but now because the day is near you are "being emotional" about it (in a good way Just remember why you initially were happy to dispense with this watch to tra... 

Although I thought the Bleu was no longer in production?

The bleu is definitely still in production but has a long waiting list. What is not in production are the 38mm models which have been discontinued. Pity really as they were a good size.

Why did they stop making it?

It's 39mm. The 38mm Chronometre Souvrain and Octa models are discontinued, 40mm is the size now, with the Octa Divine men's model available at 42mm. This is what people were asking for and buying.

In every instance however, the seller has been a great person, and once home with the new piece no regrets whatsoever. The Bleu is phenomenal, but I am sure you know what you are giving it up for. I would not think too hard about it at this point, just go...

There seem to be strong fog in London and planes cannot land. Not sure how long I'll be trapped in zurich airport, but have to go there for business. Worse case I will do it "Ala Dr. Kol", bring both watches back home!

I feel that often we change just in order to change plus in order to get new experience. No! I am not speaking about women. This time... Too many times I have given away something I love just in order to get something new. Often it is not a good idea. Goo... 

Than getting back a watch, for sure! My plane is finally leaving in 1 hour; let's see the candidate side to side with the Journe a make a call...might come back with a watch on each wrist!

9 years ago my daughter was born and...long story short...I had to sell my Porsche 911 997.1, decision that I started to regret soon after. The regret was aggravated every time I saw one passing by. The remorse grew year after year and so is my daughter. ...  

That is my biggest worry, my attention is most of the times drawn to the resonance, tourbillon, octa-line...but I feel the Bleu might be THE Journe to own on the long run (well, tourbillon 1st generation too)... Plus I got the Bleu at such a great price 4... 

But personally I would not trade the bleu. I probably don\'t wear mine as much as I should but every time I do it is complete enjoyment. It\'s a stunning watch and one that I do not intend to part with. Good luck.

Not wearing enough the Journe! Guess that's the problem when you just have too many watches..

The FPJ Bleu is a stunning watch. I cannot possibly imagine what you are trading for that will look better on your wrist (but like everyone on this thread, can\'t wait to know!). Stay strong!

I've had no problems with my Journe's nor have friends of mine. His watches are incredibly well-made.

it isn't, in fact it is a phenomenal watch but since you had gone through the whole thought process of trading it, it means that you were ready to move on so you're just having seller remorse but will pass rapidly

Once a watch or watches have been seriously considered for trading, I think it is just a question of time before they go for good. I remember desperately wanting one vintage watch belonging to a friend. Wanting trades instead of cash he made me work very ...
