I was going to procure one...

I was going to procure one from a local MB&F dealer here in the SF Bay Area.

Unfortunately, the staff at that dealer is completely incompetent, relationship demolition experts, new to the watch world, and just rude uncanny people in the so called "luxury business."

I was invited to a dinner, to which I accepted 24 hours after receiving the invitation, I was then confirmed, then I was disinvited to the same dinner event with Max Busser two hours before the start of the event, due to what they claimed as overbooking and the venue unable to accommodate their overbooking of guests.

I love Max and his work.  And I especially love the Music Machine 3, and I did have every desire to procure one.  But now, every time I think about it, I think of this crazy and upsetting incident.  Buying these kinds of things should be a pleasant experience.

And the experience really ruins my desire to procure anything that even reminds me of that particular event.  Call it psychology, I could buy the same thing from another store, but I'm dis-incentivized because it just reminds me of unhappy thoughts.

Who's the loser here?  The vendor.  A vendor is only as good as its dealer, and the weak link in the chain ruins the whole chain.
