[SiHH 2016] MB&F HM6-SV: a very different version

Jan 18, 2016,14:57 PM

You certainly all remember the stunning HM6 in Titanium with its tourbillon and retractable shield presented in late 2014:

For this year's SiHH, MB&F has just unveiled a very different version called HM6-SV (Super Veloce as Lamborghinis?).

I find the model very beautiful, I like the side case a lot that way and the polishing parts must look very impressive (though very shiny).

We already noticed in the past with several other Horlogical Machines that MB&F masters Sapphire case parts fabrication (aside from the glass of course) and this is another great example.

I tried to ask myself if I prefer the 1st version or this one and I may be thinking this one has the lead, especially as, if the movement is well finished, we are able to admire the whole movement.

It is made either in Platinum and Sapphire (10 pieces)...

...or in Red gold and Sapphire (10 pieces)...

As often, we also have a new "table clock" machine with Sherman (made together with L'Epee1839):

Cheers, Mark

I was going to procure one from a local MB&F dealer here in the SF Bay Area. Unfortunately, the staff at that dealer is completely incompetent, relationship demolition experts, new to the watch world, and just rude uncanny people in the so called "lux...

I think

This SV version is a far better version than the original, though it is also far more expensive.

Their style are indeed so different

I do not expect anyone to agree with me but I was at the SIHH yesterday and the star of the show for me for Sherman! How adorably cute and I think it is one of the most reasonable MB&F products ever. I have great respect for MB&F for supporting L'...

You're not the first one telling the Sherman is a very appealing little machine
