I love this piece - casual and modern!
Many of Laurent Ferrier appear as pure dress watches which is lovely, but not for everyone. The sector dial on the Origine is casual/sporty and the finishing on the movement is very contemporary-looking, which sets it apart from other offerings of the maker in a couple of ways.
Not to bury the lead, but I have incoming the hunter green dial Origin (limited to 30 pieces)! I loved it when I first saw it, but didn’t have the cojones to buy it from the AD at that time. Now I was looking to add a green dial to the collection and when it came up at the Phillips Hong Kong auction, I bid on it and won! I don’t mind that it is second-hand, although I am probably spending 50% more to get it. (I believe that with the artist watchmaker still participating with his own brand, these pieces will increase in value much as F.P. Journe has in recent years.) But, pricing is secondary as these watches are finished at the highest level and will always be extraordinarily special.
Wear yours in hood health — it seems like you are already doing that!
