I have had the good luck
...to have heard a bunch, including my Reverso of course, but also examples from PP, a fantastic vintage VC piece owned by a prominent Purist, an AP grande comp in TI that really blew me away, the JLC you referred to, several pieces of Kari's including Masterpiece 8, MR 10, and the new unique piece, an FPJ sonnerie at the FPJ manufacture just a couple of weeks ago, another FPJ last year, PSM's new watch, and the Dufour sonneries (pocket and wrist watches). Also pretty much the entire assortment of UN hour strikers, the circus watch, and so on. Probably a number more that I am forgetting here.
There's also the Lange striking Zeitwerk, but perhaps the less said about that one the better...
Allen is the real expert here -- he has a great collection of videos he has made and has been studying repeating watches for a long time now...

Sound versus JLC
How does everyone feel about Kari's sound versus a JLC master minute repeater specifically a titanium piece that admire?

You have a jlc reverso repeater correct? Have you had the pleasure of hearing other repeaters in person versus you tube? I was in the journe boutique ths weekend but no repeaters available. It's so hard to see these beauties in person.

Tone is beautiful. Not trying to be critical, but do I hear a small hesitation on the rack when chiming the hours? The rate seems to be slightly inconsistent, as it seems to speed up and slow down just a tiny bit for the hour chimes. Congratulations to Ka...
Agree with you
The chime clearly hangs at one point -- to me this is a matter for adjustment by Kari, as the watch is still in its final tuning phases. Good ear! Best, Gary
