Great idea for a stunning watch. I am not too sure though whether I would choose the alien over the original LM1 but love the idea of incorporating art. Greubel Forsey did this to the extreme with the micro sculpture in the crown, Thanks for the wonderful...

From the pictures taken, I feel that it is harder to read the "power reserve" level when the lever is now an alien on this art version. Don't get me wrong. I really like the LMs. But the replacement of the lever bar with this alien construct has lost some...

as personally I am not sure if I like the LM series watches or not. I always feel a disonance between the dial side and movement side designs. As much as I like the HM series, the LM series leaves with questions. Don

One may like it or not but what feels strange to me is to put an alien into a LEGACY machine. In a "normal" machine I would have understood it but not in something presented as an homage to old masters... Is it just me?

I think this is a stretch, even in a "normal" machine, as you put it.

I don't know if the alien is appropriate in the legacy machine. The watch in itself before this new iteration was already perfect. Now it's just too much and doesn't serve any real purpose. I don't like this

I do love the Legacy machine.

It has the right amount of whimsy. And the little man reflects exactly how I feel when I am run down or at the end of the day - slumped over and waiting for more energy (or a wind up). More and more I view mechanical watches as works of art and this colla...
