Here's another Habring owner...

Firstly, I think either one you go with, would be a great decision. Both Dornblueth and Habrings produce high quality watches at affordable prices.

I only own the Habring dead seconds (their current in-house version as opposed to the Doxa version) since July and it's been an awesome daily beater. The watch is very well built and as a daily beater, I've bumped the case here and there, and the watch runs without any problems at all. It's keeps time extremely well, and the dead seconds mechanism shown through a small window on the movement is a joy to watch - check the link to my thread below.

Like Gary said, Habring's dials are beautiful. I have the lacquer version, but I've seen also their metal dials and they are just gorgeous as the differently brushed surface reflect light in a really nice way.

The other good thing about Habring is that you could customise almost every part of your watch. Although their foudroyante only comes in 42mm, the dead seconds movement can be cased in 36mm as well as 42mm. Dial colour, and dial layout, colour of the markers and hands, and you could ask for options like engraved balance-cock, or engraved main plate etc. You decide the strap colour/style. The possibilities are endless. Have a search on past Habring threads here to see.

I hope Dornblueth owners chime in on their side of the story!

Please let us know what you've decided on and it would be great to see the result! Good luck!
