Hi All, I am looking for some reviews from De Bethune owners. I tried the DB 25 Starry Various today and I think is gorgeous ! A bit puzzled by the current pricing/difficulty to source one so I would welcome some opinions ! I also found online a DB 35 wit...  

For me, the DB28 is their magnum opus and the one to own, personally. I am also perplexed by the current pricing and scarcity of these watches. At one point, about 1.5 to 2 years ago, they were very desirable and unattainable. That fervor has cooled off s...  

I love the brand but I am very much an outsider and so am not familiar with the intricacies of the brand. However, I am surprised that watchbox has made it worse. Is it mostly because of the over hyping and celebrity endorsements?

And the hoarding of pieces and very convoluted allocation process.

Watchbox keeps a very tight grip on the watches. It’s a real shame because it is creating an artificial scarcity

that is terrible!! That is one reason I hate Rolex is because of all of the those negative stories of their distribution. that is qutie sad especially because of how beautiful their watches are. I still love the watches and so will forgive them but still ...

I'm happy they are responsive now. Perhaps things are normalizing.

even considering the price difference. It is “more” DeBetbune DNA with the blued titanium center (and stars.) it’s a gorgeous and very wearable timepiece. Thin and light also. I think you will never regret making this purchase. Good luck! ...  

And as I recall the arrangement of the stars has a very personal meaning

I like most of there line a lot but can also understand some thoughts we read here about the brands approach . Still a fan of the brand

But I thought the access issues were only limited to mere mortals such as myself. I’ve tried any way possible to sweet talk the local watchbox GM (as they own debethune) to get me a starry varius allotment (want to customize to the starline above the birt... 

but may be still very nice !

I am a happy owner of DB28, DB25 with power reserve and DB15 perpetual. While 25 is more simple than others it is fantastic. Simple is not a bad word. You just need to see that seemingly simple dial close by, it is not simple at all. And those blue hands ...

I get that they want to focus on the present and the future for marketing purposes, but so much of the brand DNA and craziness was David Zanetta and the watches wouldn't be what they are today if it wasn't for him. He was able to articulate the intent of ...

But like others, I think it’s now tough to justify pricing. What is funny about watchbox is that they told me not to buy one in 2019 😂

is really something truly special in person. I love this configuration (Starry Varius, Rose Gold) so I went for it. Definitely a grail in my collection.

In particular hand and dial finishing, the parts you look at everyday, are some of the best out there at any price.

I use the DB25 from the beginning of production and consider it a work of art. It does not have stars, but the guilloche on the dial is amazing and one of the best I have seen. The accuracy and durability of the watch is great. Its size (44mm) on my small... 

I only buy new so this was the only one currently in production I could get brand new. www.watchprosite.com I love it !
