Does one "read" better upside down?
Since I can't read the writing, I'm curious if there is any unintentional meaning if it's upside down (which it could be at times when looking at it.)
If not, like option 2 better.

I'm european though and can only judge by subjective visual aesthetic

Remember, the rotor is small! Option 2's beautiful sinuous lines will be more easily appreciated at real life size.
Option 2 for me because
I think that option 1 is to "straight" compared to the curve of the rotor. If you could bend it (not sure that is possible to do in Arabic) perhaps... Best regards, Dirk

How about going creative and ask each side to be printed with one of the two styles?
