So many brands, established and not so established, are trying all sorts of experiments to try to energize sales. Marketing depts. are given the reins, when IMO they should not be allowed near the design rooms!
MG originally came out with several superb watches, well designed in a very classical Saxon way, however as with many brands, the reality of the "Business" soon came a knocking, and the investors want their returns...a shame because as we all observe, this is often times when the proverbial "Wheels come off" and the fledgling brand looses it on the corner.
I trust they put this one to bed quickly and quietly, and go back to their lovely original designs, establish a good client base of end users with experiences consummate with their "Classic traditional Glashutte style"...
Left scratching my head once again ;(
Cheers,
Tim
