Classic Moon Silver & Blue
The Classic Moon Silver by Laurent Ferrier, ref. LCF039.R5.G3N won the GPHG 2024 Calendar and Astronomy Watch Prize.
The
red gold case measures
40 x
12.9 mm.
Unfortunately, even though this model has its
charm, I'm
not really
won over by either the
cutout for displaying the
day and
month, or the
translucent disc in
petrol blue enamel of the moon phase.

The watch is powered by
manual winding Caliber LF126.02.

I could try it during my visit to Laurent Ferrier last February, as well as the
stainless steel variant called “
Classic Moon Blue”, ref. LCF039.AC.C1WC.

Because the day & month
cutout is
less visible on this
grey-blue opaline dial, I might have a
slight preference for this variant.

I
forgot to take a photo of the
movement of this variant, so here's an
image from the official
website.
Nice, but less attractive to me than my Classic Micro-Rotor and, above all, than the Tourbillon Double Spiral in yellow gold, ref. LCF001.02.R5.E10, which remains for me an ultimate goal.

What are
your thoughts?
Thanks for reading.
Best, Emmanuel
