There is another watch maker that I think is the one to watch. What do you think about the pieces from Ludovic Ballouard?
I believe this guy to be the up and comer, and the pieces he has created are incredibly beautiful and unique. I hope he finds a way to create a more affordable yet collectable line of watches. My Habring was under 7G US, and that's exceptional value for a piece of this caliber. My understanding is that Ludovic's Upside Down watch is well into the five figures, and since he loves to forge in platinum, the watches are uber expensive.
I suppose value is relative, at least where complication is concerned. There are other factors, such as the metal, that add high cost to a watch. End of the day, wouldn't it be fantastic to have an Upside Down in say, stainless-steel? Just sayin'...
