The Simplicity is obviously the epitome of fine finishing although I met an esteemed moderator while in London who told me that if any work was required on a Simplicity due to damage once Dufour was not around one day, the watch would be literally irrepairable due to Dufour's high standards not being able to be emulated. He has had two watchmakers in the past to assist him while making his watches. One left as he could not keep up with Dufour's demands while the other was fired! I am almost certain that Rexhep with age on his side will be giving Kari a run for his money in the years to come. Some may even argue his finishing and movement construction are slightly superior to Kari's but I am not a movement expert and will simply say, both designs are superb.

I am sorry, from a design point of view, the face is somehow wrong and looks odd. The lowered sub dial, should not contain the minutery of the upper dial.
This has the effect that the lower dial seems blured (optical illusion). A pity actually, because the rest of the watch is stunning!
