Independents

Ah, bots…

the computer ‘shoe/sneaker bots’ are programmed to do automated tasks like checking inventory and purchasing in a way that imitates humans but MUCH faster and higher volumes. Read about it, but you’ll see that’s why almost impossible to win hot sneaker drops. Companies do their best to update their platforms to ‘recognize’ and block bots, but the programmers’ bots are also able to ‘learn’ and develop to overcome company efforts. On one level it’s fascinating seeing these digital wars/competitions, but for regular people like us there’s nothing to do. It’s a scary new world, and it’s just the tip of the iceberg. I was thinking to wait in line for store openings like in old days, but even that’s not an option now. As far as Jordans, I love the 11s, but have recently gotten into the 1s, which I do wear. I like the beige/denim ones in your pic, but how many can I wear (given i’m way past my prime). If I go for a pair like yours then yes will need to pay hefty premium, but they are very cool.👏🏽
