What data - field tests, trial runs - in case these are the major interest of the potential buyer - which I very much doubt - have true horological significance beyond the incredible innovation (of a particular sort) and the admittedly impeccable finish (of a particular sort)?
What can the GFs actually do and how much can they take?
Can I wear one - and under what circumstances?
How will it perform (no sarcasm intended) after a month of everyday activities such as rising abruptly in the morning, putting on the watch, rushing to make my first cup of coffee, then the - Extreme Test:
Winding all my other watches
By the way, thanks very much too Andrew. thiat was a great report!!!
I now own and am field-testing the Gerber Calibre 33, and believe me it will - and does go back to Paul. I see it is a kind of collaboration between the watchmaker and a dedicated enthusiast - imyself.
How many Independents have the resources to do that?

And best to you, John, before we all fly off the handle - or slip off the crown!

Thanks Andrew...

Thanks Andrew, I'd love to hear more about the science that GF claims to bring to the table. There's nothing about it that seems particularly disingenuous(I believe they are sincere at least), but I'm a "show me the data" kinda guy, and need more than sim...

I've been travelling and missed this wonderful report until today. Thanks Andrew and also to Messrs Greubel and Forsey for starting the whole thing, in the first place! I did not realise the subtleties that go into a G-F watch.....hence the eye-watering p...
