stiff is pretty active. He submerged a vintage dress PP (with no water resistance) on more than one occasion. stiff won't allow the opportunity to repeat dat mistake.
stiff, however, doesn't have to wear da rugged watch to establish dat he is rugged, hence da dress watch with da day coat or dinner jacket.
For sport, stiff likes da asthetics of da domed Plexiglass crystal and it affords some impact resistance, too.
