in Mexico City in about 1973 0r 74 and it was the finest working watch (accurate) and eye catching (many female comments on) of all
the watches I have bought, It was also the ONLY watch never needed repair and was noted by my watchmaker as "the finest chronometer he {never}
worked on" .
I was impressed with the chromium plating on the bezel, never faded and I almost bought the Marine Crono also Darn should have,
but the wife moaned and groaned when I bought the connie, now you know why she is The X. lol JMHO
