Wrist shot ...
Hi Kevin,
Thanks for sharing your new purchase. I would love to see a wrist shot when you get a chance before I comment. More and more I realise that it is the proportions of a watch, and the way it looks on the owners wrist that make it special.
From the static picture you post, I agree with Nico's comment about the date, but otherwise the dial is classic and looks very easy to read; the essential element of a Pilot's watch.
And finally there are interesting and significant watches at all price points (that's half the fun of this 'hobby') and you shouldn't feel bad about posting your Citizen.
Regards
Andrew

I've never given the date a second thought? Is it good to have yes, but I would agree it probably would of been better without, but its pretty small to even noticed half the time. Most Citizen ECO-Drive models have their own caliber # this one doesn't, fo...

Thanks Kevin, The watch sits well on your wrist. There is no overhang of lugs, and in fact you could go bigger than this (but it’s nice to own a range of sizes). I like the strap, the way the numerals are bordered to catch the light and give more ‘life’ t...

Overall, a very clean dial--and don't worry too much about the date--think of it as a beauty mark if it bothers you! and I'll bet you'll have a glorious time switching straps--visit a panerai or kobold forum to see how their owners jump into different bed...

I like this Citizen! Like Nicolas, I think it may have looked better without the date, or at least a better designed window. I have an Eco-Drive as well. You could argue it's the Green watch as it never needs a battery. Check out the Eco-Drive perpetual. ...
