that we see here but it doesnt stop me and nor should it stop you, as for your citizen i like it im even considering it for myself or my father inlaw
Hi Kevin,
Thanks for sharing your new purchase. I would love to see a wrist shot when you get a chance before I comment. More and more I realise that it is the proportions of a watch, and the way it looks on the owners wrist that make it special.
From the static picture you post, I agree with Nico's comment about the date, but otherwise the dial is classic and looks very easy to read; the essential element of a Pilot's watch.
And finally there are interesting and significant watches at all price points (that's half the fun of this 'hobby') and you shouldn't feel bad about posting your Citizen.
Regards
Andrew
Thanks Kevin,
The watch sits well on your wrist. There is no overhang of lugs, and in fact you could go bigger than this (but it’s nice to own a range of sizes). I like the strap, the way the numerals are bordered to catch the light and give more ‘life’ to the dial and, as mentioned, I applaud the legibility.
Hope you get a lot of pleasure from it. Interested to see where it leads you next …
Andrew
Cheers and i hope you enjoy it for many years to come...
the Breitling Superocean II, and a case like an IWC or other classic, smooth-edged bezel.
No worries, my friend. Enjoy it!

...if only Citizen made an Aqualand with Eco-drive...well one that wasn't as ugly and useless as the JV0030...Eco is the perfect solution to watches that might be in the drawer for a few weeks or months before being pulled out for a holiday/dive.
That's a handsome watch in any case, though I'd prefer the numbers to plain printed....
the dial indexes ,IMO it would be better with out the date window , strap fits it perfectly with a great look.
Is that a canvas strap?
best
Drew
