Horological Meandering

I'm always embarrassed when I come on here, because I can't afford to spend thousands of dollars on a watch. But I like what I do have and that's all that matters. OK here is my new pickup, I got this Past Saturday 7/24/10. Pic borrowed from the net....

It looks small but I can wear any size. From 34mm to 52mm

Overall, a very clean dial--and don't worry too much about the date--think of it as a beauty mark if it bothers you! and I'll bet you'll have a glorious time switching straps--visit a panerai or kobold forum to see how their owners jump into different bed... 

A new leather strap would look nice.

there is nothing to feel bad or embarassed about wearing an honest watch with honest intentions. you can always check out other brands which offer army/pilot/military or utility watch such as the Citizen you purchased. Check out Archimede, Stowa, Laco.. t...

the dial indexes ,IMO it would be better with out the date window , strap fits it perfectly with a great look. Is that a canvas strap? best Drew

I like Seiko especially the SD line, but I've always been a Citizen guy. If Citizen did high end Automatics then that would be cool.

I like this Citizen! Like Nicolas, I think it may have looked better without the date, or at least a better designed window. I have an Eco-Drive as well. You could argue it's the Green watch as it never needs a battery. Check out the Eco-Drive perpetual. ... 

Ive had several Breguet but had to sell due to economy...I wear a Seiko or FRederique constant now......................you buy/wear what you like.....you are part of this site because you obviously like watches like the rest of us..........I WILL aqcuire...
