I just shot that model for the first time in years. My one-minute summary is on instagram and the full length video will be up in a few days. One of the challenges posed by all these name changes is that I've had to shoot many watches repeatedly to keep the company name current.

I find it disturbing as well, on what was supposed to be a calm watch with moon phase. At least on the Chronographe version, the jumping second hand is only in action when the Chrono is activated. ...

white dial 1815 is so cool. The size is just nice and the movement is beautiful.
Duometre for me here! It’s unorthodox in a way I find appealing.
I have always been struggling appreciating the Lange chronograph as in my view Datograph is the obvious choice. But that’s just me, nothing wrong with the chronograph of course.
I also like the unorthodox appeal of the Dimuometre,
but I think the “foudroyante” hand would drive me crazy!
Lange will probably win out in terms of finishing…
But the JLC is the more conceptually interesting to me 👌🏻👍🏻
Yes, I think I agree with you,
even if the "foudroyante" complication doesn't appeal to me very much (I find ultra-fast running hands distracting). But I like the very "clean complexity" of the dial.

The 42mm Duometre a Chroographe is very large for a dress watch, and the 39.5mm Lange is far more manageable. I'd say the Duometre is the more interesting machine, but if size dictates a smaller watch, then the 1815 would be my choice - even compared to a...

Isn't the Quantième Lunaire featured here (it's not the Chronograph) only 40.5 mm ? Which would make it closer to the 1815 chronograph (not in thickness, though). Best, Emmanuel

The variety of options they come in and the chunk of cool complications are amazing in one package. It’s a little large but that’s ok. I love the flying seconds personally.
Yes, the Duometre line offers an appealing variety.

Movements’ architecture and finishing of a Lange is on a much better level. Remembering your past question I would make the following rating: 1) 1815 Chrono 2) JLC duometre 3) PP 5070 Best

Apples and oranges, and yet cousins...
Very different, but from a practical standpoint, the QL for me. I love a moonphase and the date is important to me. Plus, most people I know don't actually use their chronograph. -Dean
