Wonderful post
Sometimes you see a watch and it's just a watch, but then you hear a story like yours and a relationship develops and it's not just any watch but something special.
It reminds me a bit of an excerpt from some recent bed-time reading for the children; Antoine de Saint-Exupery's The Little Prince, when the latter meets a fox who wishes to be tamed. The little prince asks how this is done and the fox says - by establishing ties.
The fox says (in English translation):
"To me, you are still nothing more than a little boy who is just like a hundred thousand other little boys. and I have no need of you. And you, on your part, have no need of me. To you, I am nothing more than a fox like a hundred thousand foxes. But if you tame me, then we need each other. To me you will be unique in all the world. To you, I shall be unique in all the world.
I am begining to understand said the little prince..." And so they began to get to know each other.
It seems to me you have "tamed" your Octa RdM. Wear in good health and all the best!
