At 43 mm case diameter it certainly packs a punch. 💪
We remember that pocket watch calibres were used for this one yes?
From the internet …
“The watch is equipped with the original Minerva caliber 17'22 (diameter 39.25mm).
The movement was developed in the 1920s and was used in Minerva pocket watches until 1942. The Lepine movement is equipped with 17 jewels, a Breguet balance spring without shock protection and a screw balance. It makes 18,000 vibrations per hour. The minute wheel is mounted in a triple-screwed gold chaton.”
Congratulations on your piece 🤝
