What is your most difficult watch to photograph?

I suspect that PuristS who have been taking photos of their watches have noticed some are easier to capture than others. There are all sorts of impediments to taking a good picture, and we know that the real professionals such as Nilomis, Jocke, Amanico have tricks up their sleeves that work on MOST of the watches around (put on table, block reflections with shield, control the light).

But I have some unique watches that are fingerprint magnets, unbelieveably good reflection catchers, top-heavy so they topple over, or have dials upon which no camera can get a focus, etc.

Here my nominee for the worst: The Gerber P10. I took more than twenty photos to get one usuable shot of the front. The back I captured in one!

Now to the front. Paul Gerber

Out of focus

Fingerprint at 10, reflections

Moving outside to another environment ...

Boring

Uneven light, dark corners, bad background, noticed bleeding of the lume onto the dial(!) at 9, etc

I was running out of time so after 10 in the flowers, I chose to go with this

This Grand Seiko is close runner-up to the Gerber in the "I won't let you take my picture" sweepstakes.

Reflections, too dark, lint, hands unattractive position

Glare, hot spots

Too dark, out of focus (trying to avoid light glare)

Darn palm tree

Here's what I wanted:

This is a keeper too. Decent display of the dial, and entirely different color than the previous shot, good hand position, interesting lighting, etc.

Please share your favorite (NOT!) watch to photograph.
