Well, very interesting watch indeed and I completely..
agree with you, why on earth "destroying" this otherwise beautiful dial with a date? Especially such a ridiculously small window in the context.

What kind of watch is it meant to be? Dive, Dress, Tool?
Dial, hands and see-through caseback suggest dress? Not an instant like but I think a writshot would give it a chance to redeem itself.
