Some aspects I like, while others I don't....
First, I'm with you Nicolas regarding the date - the dial would be much cleaner with no date complication. (I also happen to be a card carrying member of the anti-date club, but that's another issue)
I like the size, color and particularly the fact that they are using their in-house movement.
I would, however, rather see this as a true diver. Add a bezel with dive timer and make it WR to 300M, and I might take a closer look.
Overall an interesting timepiece.

What kind of watch is it meant to be? Dive, Dress, Tool?
Dial, hands and see-through caseback suggest dress? Not an instant like but I think a writshot would give it a chance to redeem itself.
WR to 100 meters, if I am not wrong, but not dive.
