I have seen many companies reworking old models into their new line up. You can call them hommage or re-edition like the great job Tudor has done with their heritage line. But here Doxa has really met the challenge with a faithful re-edition like no other...
They recreated the dome in crystal vs the original plexi. Unfortunately the parts are not interchangable so the 50 year olds still have zero parts but ETA power house ticks strong so no worries.
But little else (to my untrained eyes). Exceedingly well done IMHO! Congratulations on your latest addition, Bill, it really is quite something. Speaking of which - if I recall correctly, they are only available to be ordered online from the manufacturer....
