I bought my first really serious watch 11 years ago, when I was 35, it was a golden Daniel Roth Datomax.
I remembered well how a judge stared at me when he saw my watch...
I think man must grow up for a golden watch like Lange, Jaeger, Breguet etc., but stainless steel Omega and Rolex goes well also from the middle-late twenties..
Although nowadays a stainless steel, entry-level Rlx costs more than a classical Jaeger or Breguet in gold, it is a crazy world!
At the end it is all about the style: you must choose a sophisticated, stylish watch and you must know how to wear it in style...
